CHEST Project consortium meeting in Rome to review the progress of the Call 2 projects which are now midway through their duration

Call 3 projects have now received their initial funding with projects now underway, progress can be followed via the CHEST social media and the new CHEST Platform, target release mid-October

The response to the CHEST Open Calls has been European wide. – in total across all three calls 455 applications were received from 19 out of the 28 EU Member States.

5 projects have been selected for support under Call 2 – call for partners. The winning projects seek to address a range of societal challenges from mental health through to traffic management and electronic re-use. Click here for details of the projects supported

A range of fantastic project ideas have been supported, from an app to facilitate the daily mobility of people with special needs through to ecommerce platforms for food waste reduction. All innovative, All addressing key societal challenges. Full details can be found here.

The call is open to both new applicants as well as those projects supported under Call 1 Deadline for submissions: 17.00 CET on the 30th September 2014

The CHEST partners are pleased to report a significant response to both Calls 1 and 2 which closed on the 31st May 2014. In total 215 ideas were submitted for Call 1 and 106 applications for Call 2.
